Talwars move Allahabad HC challenging CBI court's directive
(UNI) Dr Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, accused in the murder of their daughter Aarushi and their servant Hemraj moved a petition in the Allahabad High Court challenging the order of the special CBI court of Ghaziabad rejecting their plea to call 14 people to record their evidence.
The HC is expected to hear the petition on May 17.
Earlier, the Supreme Court had refused to hear the application of Talwars and asked them to approach the High Court. On May 4 last, the special CBI court rejected the plea of Aarushi's parents to summon 14 witnesses including former DIG of CBI Arun Kumar to record their statements. UNI
