Kerala HC stays order on Bitty DNA test
(UNI) The Kerala High Court stayed the order of a lower court directing Bitti Mohanty, convicted in the 2006 German tourist rape case in Rajasthan, to undergo DNA test by a week.
The Thalassery Sessions Court Judge had directed Mohanty, who had alleged to have impersonated and secured a job in the State Bank of Travancore, to undergo a DNA test in the case.
Mohanty was convicted for raping a German national at Rajasthan.
He had absconded and entered into service of SBT under a different name. UNI
