(UNI) The Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by the parents of Aarushi Talwar seeking to examine 14 witnesses including the then CBI joint director Arun Kumar before recording their statement in Aarushi-Hemraj murder case.
A bench comprising Justices B S Chouhan and Dipak Misra told Dr Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar to go to Allahabad High Court first and granted them 48 hours to approach the court.
The dentist couple had come directly to the Supreme Court against the order of CBI Judge Ghaziabad who had dismissed their application.
Mr Kumar had given a clean chit to the couple.
Aarushi Talwar, 14-year-old schoolgirl, was found murdered at her residence on May 15, 2008 and the body of domestic help Hemraj was recovered from the terrace next day. UNI
